WATER POLO CLUB BENEFITS FROM THE MARS REFUEL DRINK FUND

Edinburgh Swimming and Water Polo Club is celebrating after receiving a £500 donation from the MARS Refuel Drink Fund.

The swimming and water polo club is on the up, reaching the finals of the British Championships this year. The club also boasts members of Olympic and Commonwealth standard. Despite this the successful club is struggling to find the funding it needs to continue.

Edward Grundy, member at Edinburgh Swimming and Water Polo Club, added: “The running closts of the club are very high, and we receive very little external funding.

“The kind donation from the MARS Refuel Drink Fund will help towards keeping the membership fees low, and allow us to encourage more people into the sport.”
